Julie A. Blank, founder of Excell Rehab Physical Therapy, realized early in her career as a Physical Therapist, that in most communities, there was a therapy services void between home healthcare and traditional outpatient therapy provided in a clinic. Recognizing this need, Julie’s innovative solution was the development of a home-based outpatient therapy program to bridge the gap.

Excell Rehab Physical Therapy was founded in July of 2002 and was readily welcomed by doctors, hospitals, social workers and the community. Julie, with a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy and a passion for helping others, has grown the company to service the greater Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, and Lee Counties.

In addition to the outpatient therapy services offered in patients’ homes, Excell Rehab Physical Therapy opened an outpatient clinic in Sarasota, providing services for more advanced patients requiring a clinic setting and equipment.
